About This one’s all about going back to basics with watercolour, but in a really relaxed, no-pressure way. You’ll have a go at the key techniques like wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, dry brush, and different types of washes, then build things up with layering and simple colour mixing. Katharine will do a mix of short demos and then you’ll try things out yourself. By the end, you’ll have your own piece of work to take home, plus a better idea of colours and how to put together a simple palette. It’s ideal if you’re completely new, or if you’ve painted before but want to get a better grip on the basics. All materials will be provided.​​ Timetable 10.30am start Finish around 1pm
